[Halloween]What happened the halloween day?
There lived a pretty girl living in a small village.
The girl just became 5 years old. Her hair color was light brown, her wide forehead was attractive, and especially her bright smile was very delightful .
Nevertheless, she had one concern.
“A couple of days later, it will be Halloween?”.
One day in October,
the girl told her mother with courage about her concern.
“Mom! I want to wear a wonderful dress to the Halloween party!”
But, her family situation was not well enough to go to a party.
So she prayed day after day, to let her go to a party.
Then one night
The girl went to sleep with the imagination of going to a Halloween in a fine dress
with pretty dress shoes.
"Get up!! You are going to be late for the party!!"
The girl’s monkey friend Boots shook her to wake up.
"It’s right! Today is Halloween?"
She put on her dress in a hurry, and start off with her friend Boots.
Following the Map in the invitation was so much fun.
Yet, suddenly Boots told her imprudently.
"A terrible accident! The road is split in 3 way!”
"What are we going to do?"
The girl stood for a moment and thought.
'We have to pass through this jungle in order to arrive at Pipi’s place
where the party is held’
"Red, yellow, and blue… Which road should I take?"
Finally the girl decided to follow the blue road.
When they walked through the thickly-wooded blue road, a parrot chattered.
"Trick or Treat!
Trick or Treat!"
The girl listened carefully what the parrot was saying.
"Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat!"
All of a sudden the girl and Boots was repeating after the parrot with a loud voice. "Trick or Treat!"
The colorful pretty parrot kept shouting "Trick or Treat!" to the girl and Boots.
After a short while, the parrot flew softly and told them to take 5 candies from the nest.
The girl took 5 sweet candies in her bag.
And she did not forget to say appreciative words.
“Thank you parrot!”
In front of her walking and Singing with pumpkin bag full of candies,
Suddenly a scary snake with a sharp fang appeared.
The girl and Boots was so scared that they shivered.
"It is so scary~~"
But the snake kept coming toward her.
The snake opened his mouth, and
"Several days ago I slipped from the tree and some of my figure in the back tore off.
Can you help me? Please find my patterned skin!”
The girl thought the snake was going to bite her.
But all snake wanted was to get some help
Monkey Boots took out some crayon from her pumpkin bag.
"How about if we color your skin with this crayon?”
the girl thought it was a great idea and decided to color the snake’s back as Boots said.
"Orange, blue, black. black, orange, blue,black,...... Orange, blue, black,black?”
What color should we choose?
That’s right!! Black!! The girl yelled hitting her lap.
So the two painted the snake’s back nicely.
The snake greeted them with thanks.
The girl and Boots was glad that they could help the snake.
“Colorful snake! Take care! Bye bye!”
The sunshine was soft and the sun hung in the top of the sky.
It was as if the sun was smiling and telling them to hurry under the bright shine she was giving.
They finally reached the cliff according to the map in the invitation.
Yet a serious matter happened.
The ladder connecting the cliffs were broken and cut.
The girl and Boots plumped down on the ground.
“How are we going to do? We still have some more distance to go…"
The girl and Boots thought for a moment under the tree shade.
“What shall we do?
“Let’s think for a moment drinking some water."
The girl took out some water and a straw from the pumpkin bag.
The two shared the water.
At that instant, an idea stroke your head.
“Oh! This is it. Let’s make a ladder!
She took some rope and a scissor from her bag and began to make something eagerly.
Boots just watched beside her.
A couple of minutes later, the girl made a wonderful strong ladder.
"We can pass through the cliffs using this ladder!"
In fact, the girl liked to carry this and that inside her bag.
The girl and Boots was scared a little bit but carefully walked over the ladder.
"Wow~~ We have passed the cliffs!"
the two embraced together and jumped with joy.
If we walk just a little more and we will arrive Pipi’s house.
Boots and the girl took courage and walked.
Over there there was a Pipi’s house looking so small.
The girl and Boots began to run.
“ Let’s race to the Pipi’s house where the Halloween party is held."
The exhausted Boots suggested “Let’s go” with a loud voice.
“OK. Good!”
They passed each other giving full effort.
At some degree she felt something was strange.
Boots who was running beside her disappeared.
“Boots! Boots! Where are you??"
She turned back and there was Boots struggling in a swamp.
“Help! Help me!"
Boots kept going deep as she struggled more.
“Don’t move! Stay still! The more you move, the more you will fall deep!"
The girl calmed Boots.
Watching Manana so confused, she felt she was going to burst into tears but she endured.
“What shall I do!! Oh God. Please help us!"
And suddenly ,,,
A strange sound came from no where.
EE HEEEEEE. Kekeke!! Fell in a swamp of ghosts Hahahahah
The unpleasant sound was the voice of ghosts in a white wrapping cloth.
"Oh!"
The girl screamed.
The ghosts began to show around the swamp.
But the girl thought she had to stay calm. Because she have to save Boots from the swamp.
She came up with an idea.
“What do you want? Nice looking ghosts!!"
'Nice looking ghosts did you say?'
"We look nice?"
The ghost blushed as they first heard a compliment.
"We are the ghosts of the swamp. We like to play tricks!!!"
"If you want to save your monkey friend, we will give you a chance."
The ghosts told the girl flowing that they will give her a chance.
The girl begged for a chance.
A one ghost came to the girl and handed over a bucket, that had a folded paper, to her.
A ghost looking like a captain of them said.
"There are 7 questions! If you get the right answer we will let your monkey friend go in peace!"
The girl did not have time to waste.
"Yes I will do. I will solve the questions."
The girl picked one question.

"I have prayed everyday so I could come to the party."
In the Pipi’s house many friends, Caillou, Timothy, Little Bear, Lyona, Pat and Matt, Number Crew, Tomas, Snow White, Cinderella, Aladin, and Pocahontas, were already there.
As Eun-jin and Boots came Dong-jin followed.
“Eun-jin! "
Dong-jin was the Eun-jin’s boyfriend.
The two shared the cadies each and danced cheerfully.
The Halloween party was far more fun and exciting than she thought.
She chattered with Caillou not knowing how much time went.
The party got riped.
She shared delicious cake with her friends and drank sweet orange juices.
“Eun-Jin! Eun-Jin! Wake up!!”
"You are going to be late for kindergarten. The sun is shining like it is smiling! "
Getting up surprisingly, she knew it was all a dream.

Then she heard her mommy’s voice.

[할로윈]할로윈 데이에 생긴 일-제1부....이야기편입니다.
작은 마을에 아주 예쁜 소녀가 살았어요.
그 소녀는 이제 다섯살이지요. 머리카락은 엷은 갈색에 넓은 이마가 매력적이고
특히 환한 웃음이 예쁜 그런 소녀였답니다.
그런데, 그 소녀에게는 걱정이 하나 있었어요.
"몇일 후면 할로윈데인데???"
10월의 어느날
소녀는 용기를 내어 엄마에게 걱정을 털어놓았어요.
"엄마! 난 멋진 드레스를 입고 할로윈 파티에 가고 싶어요!"
하지만,,,
소녀의 집은 파티에 가기에는 어려운 형편이었답니다.
그래서 소녀는 매일 매일 기도를 했어요.
파티에 가게 해달라고...
어느날 밤...
소녀는 근사한 드레스를 입고 예쁜 신발도 신고 할로윈 파티에 가는 상상을 하며
잠이 들었습니다.
"어서 일어나~~!!! 파티에 늦겠어!!!"
소녀의 친구인 원숭이 부츠는 소녀를 흔들어 깨웠어요.
"맞아! 오늘이 할로윈데이지?"
소녀는 서둘러 드레스를 입고 부츠와 길을 나섰어요.
초대장에 그려져있는 지도를 보며 찾아가는 길은 너무나도 즐거웠지요.
그런데, 갑자기 부츠가 호들갑을 떨며 소녀에게 말했어요.
"큰일이야! 길이 세갈래로 나뉘어져 있어?"
"어떻게 하지?"
소녀는 잠시 걸음을 멈추고 생각에 잠겼어요.
'이 정글을 지나야 파티가 열리는 삐삐의 집에 도착할수 있는데......'
"빨간색, 노란색, 파란색..어느 길로 가야할까?"
고민하던 소녀는 세가지 색깔의 길 중에서 파란색 길로 가기로 결정했어요.
나무가 우거진 파란색 길을 조금 걸어갔을때 앵무새 한마리가 재잘거렸어요.
"Trick or Treat!
Trick or Treat!"
소녀는 앵무새가 무슨 말을 하는지 귀를 기울였어요.
"Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat!"
어느새 소녀와 부츠는 앵무새 패럿을 따라 큰 소리로 말하게 되었지요.
"Trick or Treat!"
알록 달록 예쁜 앵무새는 소녀와 부츠에게 계속 "Trick or Treat!"를 외쳤지요.
잠시 후 앵무새 패럿이 살며시 날아오르더니 소녀에게 둥지 안에 있던 사탕을
다섯개 가지고 가라고 얘기를 하지 뭐에요?
소녀는 달콤한 사탕을 다섯개 가방에 담았어요.
그리고 소녀는 감사의 인사말도 잊지않았어요.
"고마워~~앵무새야!"
호박 가방에 사탕을 담아 가지고 콧노래를 흥얼거리며 걷던 소녀앞와 부츠앞에
갑자기 이빨이 송곳처럼 뾰족한 무시무시한 뱀이 나타났어요.
소녀와 부츠는 몸을 부들부들 떨었어요.
"너무 무서워~~"
그런데 뱀 스네이크는 자꾸만 자꾸만 그들 가까이로 오는 것이었어요.
뱀은 입을 쩍~ 벌리더니.....????

.
.
"몇 일 전에 나무에서 미끄러져 그만 등위에 있는 무늬가 벗겨졌거든.
나를 도와 줄수 있겠니? 내 등위의 멋진 무늬를 다시 찾아줘~~???"
소녀는 뱀이 자기를 물려고 하는줄로 착각을 했었어요.
하지만 그 뱀은 우리의 도움이 필요했던 것이었지요.
원숭이 부츠가 그녀의 호박 가방에서 색연필을 꺼내었어요.
"이 색연필로 뱀의 색깔을 칠해주면 어떨까?"
소녀는 좋은 생각이라며 부츠의 말대로 뱀 스네이크의 등을 색칠해 주기로 했지요.
"주황 파랑 검정 검정 주황 파랑 검정 ??? 주황 파랑 검정 검정???"
무슨 색을 칠해야 할까?
맞아!!! 검정이야! 소녀는 무릎을 탁 두드리며 소리쳤어요.
그렇게 둘은 뱀의 등 무늬를 예쁘게 칠해주었지요.
뱀은 너무 고맙다며 인사를 했어요.
소녀와 부츠는 뱀을 도울수 있어 기뻤어요.
"알록 달록 뱀아~! 몸 조심해! 안녕~~"
햇살은 따가웠고 햇님은 저기 하늘 꼭대기에 떠 있었어요.
마치 햇님이 정글을 밝게 비춰줄테니 서둘러서 가라며 웃고 있는듯 했어요.
이윽고 초대장에 그려진 지도를 보고 절벽까지 오게 되었어요.
그런데 정말 큰 일이 났지 뭐에요?
절벽과 절벽을 이어주는 사다리가 그만 끊어져있는게 아니겠어요?
소녀와 부츠는 그만 바닥에 털썩 주저앉았어요.
"어떻게 해? 아직 우리는 가야할 길이 남아있는데...."
소녀와 부츠는 잠시 나무 그늘 아래에 앉아서 생각을 했어요.
"어떻게 하면 될까?"
"우리 잠시 여기서 물도 좀 마시고 생각 해보자!"
소녀는 호박 가방에서 물과 빨대를 꺼내었어요.
둘은 물을 나누어서 마셨어요.
그 순간 소녀의 머리를 스치는 것이 있었어요.
"아!! 이거다. 우리가 사다리를 만들자!"
가방에서 줄과 가위를 꺼내어 소녀는 뭔가를 열심히 만들기 시작했어요.
부츠는 옆에서 그냥 바라만 보았어요.
조금 뒤 소녀는 너무나도 멋지고 튼튼한 사다리를 만들었어요.
"우리가 이 사다리로 절벽을 건너면 되는 거야!"
사실 소녀는 가방에 이것 저것 넣어가지고 다니는 것을 좋아했거든요.
소녀와 부츠는 조금 겁이 났지만 조심 조심 사다리 위를 걸었어요.
"와~~~!!!절벽을 건넜다!"
둘은 꼭 껴안고 펄쩍 펄쩍 뛰었어요.
이제 조금만 더 가면 삐삐의 집이야!!!
부츠와 소녀는 기운을 내어 걸었어요.
저기 아주 작게 삐삐의 집이 보였어요.
소녀와 부츠는 달리기 시작했어요.
"할로윈 파티가 열리는 삐삐의 집까지 누가 먼저 도착하나? 내기 해볼까?"
그 동안 너무 지쳐있던 부츠가 화이팅을 외치며 제안을 했어요.
"그래..좋아!"
둘은 엎치락 뒤치락 한치의 양보도 없이 전력을 다했어요.
어느정도 달리고 있을때 소녀는 조금 이상한 느낌이 들었어요.
같이 달리던 부츠가 사라진 것이었지요.
"부츠~~~부츠??? 어딨니?"
뒤를 돌아보니 부츠가 늪에 빠져서 허우적거리고 있는 모습이
보였어요.
"도와줘~~~원숭이 살려~!!!"
늪은 부츠가 허우적거릴 때마다 조금씩 조금씩 더 깊이 빠지는 것이었어요.
"움직이지마!!! 그냥 그대로 있어! 자꾸 움직이면 늪에 더 깊이 빠지게 돼!!!"
소녀는 부츠를 진정시켰어요.
당황하는 부츠를 보니 눈물이 나올것만 같았지만 소녀는 꾹 참았어요.
'어떻게 하지???하느님~도와주세요!!!'
그런데 그때,,,
어디선가 이상한 소리가 들려왔어요.
"이히히히히 하하하하하 케케케 유령들의 늪에 빠졌구나!!! 하하하하하"
너무 기분나쁜 그 소리는 하얀 보자기를 뒤집어 쓴 것같은 유령들의 소리였어요.
"앗!"
소녀는 비명을 질렀어요.
늪 주변으로 유령들의 모습이 보였기 때문이지요.
그렇지만 소녀는 정신을 차려야겠다고 생각했어요. 왜냐하면 부츠를 늪에서
구해야하고 그리고.....
소녀는 꽤를 내었어요.
"원하는 게 뭐니? 착하게 생긴 유령들아~~~"
'착하게 생긴 유령이라고?'
"우리들이 착하게 생겼다고?"
유령들은 처음 듣는 칭찬에 볼이 빨개졌지요.
"우리는 이 늪의 유령이시다. 우린 장난을 아주 좋아하거든!!!"
"만약 너의 친구 원숭이를 구하고 싶다면 기회를 주지..."
유령들은 하늘을 떠다니며 소녀에게 기회를 주겠다고 했어요.
소녀는 기회를 달라고 애원했지요.
어떤 유령 하나가 소녀의 곁으로 다가와 접어진 종이가 담긴 통을 소녀에게
내밀었어요.
대장으로 보이는 유령 하나가 말했어요.
"거기에 있는 퀴즈는 모두 7개다! 그 문제의 정답을 알아맞힌다면 너의
친구 원숭이를 늪에서 무사히 꺼내주겠다!"
소녀는 망설일 시간이 없었어요.
"네...그렇게 할께요. 문제를 풀께요."

삐삐는 소녀를 반갑게 맞았어요.
"은진아!!! 부츠랑 왔구나?
인사해...네가 너무 너무 좋아하는 친구들이 모두 모였단다."
은진이는 삐삐를 보자마자 두 팔로 안았어요. 은진이는 삐삐를 무척 좋아하거든요.
"삐삐야~고마워..할로윈 파티에 나를 초대해줘서.....
실은 파티에 너무 오고 싶어서 매일 매일 기도를 했었거든...^^"
삐삐네 집에는 까이유, 티모시, 리틀베어, 리요나,패트와 매트, 넘버크루,토마스,백설공주
신델렐라, 알라딘, 포카혼타스....등등 많은 친구들이 벌써 와 있었어요.
은진이와 부츠가 오자마자 동진이가 뒤 따라 들어왔어요.
"은진아!"
동진이는 은진이의 남자친구랍니다.
둘은 사탕을 하나씩 나누어 먹으며 즐겁게 춤을 추었답니다.
할로윈 파티는 소녀가 생각하는 것 보다 훨씬 더 신나고 재미있었지요.
소녀는 시간 가는줄 모르고 까이유랑 수다도 떨었어요.
파티는 점점 무르익어 갔어요.
친구들과 맛있는 케잌도 나눠먹고 달콤한 주스도 마셨지요.

유치원 늦겠다. 햇님이 방긋 웃고 있구나~!
화들짝 놀라며 일어나보니.......그 일들은 모두 꿈이었다는것을 알았지요.

그때 엄마의 목소리가 들려왔어요.
"은진아~~어떤 드레스 입고 할로윈 파티에 갈꺼니?"
"언릉 서둘러야지???거실에서 마나나가 기다리고 있어~~"

할로윈 파티에 가고 싶어하는 은진이를 위해 엄마가 짧고 엉성하지만 이야기를 하나
만들었습니다.
작년에는 영어모임 할때 우연히 은진이 아빠 생일과 할로윈데이가 겹치는 바람에
영어모임에서 했던 작은 파티에 참여 하지 못해 무척 아쉬워했었거든요.
**소망이 깊으면 이루어진다**는 이야기를 해주고픈 마음에....
꿈은 이루어 진다는 결말을 맺지요....
이 이야기를 해 주었더니 은진이는 진짜 할로윈 파티에 가고 싶다며
투정을 부리더라구요.

“What shall we do?
“Let’s think for a moment drinking some water."
The girl took out some water and a straw from the pumpkin bag.
The two shared the water.
At that instant, an idea stroke your head.
“Oh! This is it. Let’s make a ladder!
She took some rope and a scissor from her bag and began to make something eagerly.
Boots just watched beside her.
A couple of minutes later, the girl made a wonderful strong ladder.
"We can pass through the cliffs using this ladder!"
In fact, the girl liked to carry this and that inside her bag.
The girl and Boots was scared a little bit but carefully walked over the ladder.
"Wow~~ We have passed the cliffs!"
the two embraced together and jumped with joy.
If we walk just a little more and we will arrive Pipi’s house.
Boots and the girl took courage and walked.
Over there there was a Pipi’s house looking so small.
The girl and Boots began to run.
“ Let’s race to the Pipi’s house where the Halloween party is held."
The exhausted Boots suggested “Let’s go” with a loud voice.
“OK. Good!”
They passed each other giving full effort.
At some degree she felt something was strange.
Boots who was running beside her disappeared.
“Boots! Boots! Where are you??"
She turned back and there was Boots struggling in a swamp.
“Help! Help me!"
Boots kept going deep as she struggled more.
“Don’t move! Stay still! The more you move, the more you will fall deep!"
The girl calmed Boots.
Watching Manana so confused, she felt she was going to burst into tears but she endured.
“What shall I do!! Oh God. Please help us!"
And suddenly ,,,
A strange sound came from no where.
EE HEEEEEE. Kekeke!! Fell in a swamp of ghosts Hahahahah
The unpleasant sound was the voice of ghosts in a white wrapping cloth.
"Oh!"
The girl screamed.
The ghosts began to show around the swamp.
But the girl thought she had to stay calm. Because she have to save Boots from the swamp.
She came up with an idea.
“What do you want? Nice looking ghosts!!"
'Nice looking ghosts did you say?'
"We look nice?"
The ghost blushed as they first heard a compliment.
"We are the ghosts of the swamp. We like to play tricks!!!"
"If you want to save your monkey friend, we will give you a chance."
The ghosts told the girl flowing that they will give her a chance.
The girl begged for a chance.
A one ghost came to the girl and handed over a bucket, that had a folded paper, to her.
A ghost looking like a captain of them said.
"There are 7 questions! If you get the right answer we will let your monkey friend go in peace!"
The girl did not have time to waste.
"Yes I will do. I will solve the questions."
The girl picked one question.

The ghost kept their promise and saved her friend Manana from the swamp.
Finally, the girl and Boots held hand together and arrived the party.
It was so difficult along the way but they felt overflowing joy.
Pipi welcomed the guests.
“ Eun-Jin!! You came with Boots!!"
Say hello!! The friends you like so much are all gathered."
When Eun-jin saw Pipi she embraced her with her arms. Eun-jin liked Pipi so much.
"Pipi! Thank you, for inviting me to the party."
"I have prayed everyday so I could come to the party."
In the Pipi’s house many friends, Caillou, Timothy, Little Bear, Lyona, Pat and Matt, Number Crew, Tomas, Snow White, Cinderella, Aladin, and Pocahontas, were already there.
As Eun-jin and Boots came Dong-jin followed.
“Eun-jin! "
Dong-jin was the Eun-jin’s boyfriend.
The two shared the cadies each and danced cheerfully.
The Halloween party was far more fun and exciting than she thought.
She chattered with Caillou not knowing how much time went.
The party got riped.
She shared delicious cake with her friends and drank sweet orange juices.
“Eun-Jin! Eun-Jin! Wake up!!”
"You are going to be late for kindergarten. The sun is shining like it is smiling! "
Getting up surprisingly, she knew it was all a dream.
' It was a dream. Yes, a dream… '
Then she heard her mommy’s voice.
“Eun-jin, What are you going to wear to the Halloween party?"
“You have to hurry up! Boots is waiting for you on the living room"
The girl went down to living room packing this and that in her pumpkin bag.

[할로윈]할로윈 데이에 생긴 일-제1부....이야기편입니다.
작은 마을에 아주 예쁜 소녀가 살았어요.
그 소녀는 이제 다섯살이지요. 머리카락은 엷은 갈색에 넓은 이마가 매력적이고
특히 환한 웃음이 예쁜 그런 소녀였답니다.
그런데, 그 소녀에게는 걱정이 하나 있었어요.
"몇일 후면 할로윈데인데???"
10월의 어느날
소녀는 용기를 내어 엄마에게 걱정을 털어놓았어요.
"엄마! 난 멋진 드레스를 입고 할로윈 파티에 가고 싶어요!"
하지만,,,
소녀의 집은 파티에 가기에는 어려운 형편이었답니다.
그래서 소녀는 매일 매일 기도를 했어요.
파티에 가게 해달라고...
어느날 밤...
소녀는 근사한 드레스를 입고 예쁜 신발도 신고 할로윈 파티에 가는 상상을 하며
잠이 들었습니다.
"어서 일어나~~!!! 파티에 늦겠어!!!"
소녀의 친구인 원숭이 부츠는 소녀를 흔들어 깨웠어요.
"맞아! 오늘이 할로윈데이지?"
소녀는 서둘러 드레스를 입고 부츠와 길을 나섰어요.
초대장에 그려져있는 지도를 보며 찾아가는 길은 너무나도 즐거웠지요.
그런데, 갑자기 부츠가 호들갑을 떨며 소녀에게 말했어요.
"큰일이야! 길이 세갈래로 나뉘어져 있어?"
"어떻게 하지?"
소녀는 잠시 걸음을 멈추고 생각에 잠겼어요.
'이 정글을 지나야 파티가 열리는 삐삐의 집에 도착할수 있는데......'
"빨간색, 노란색, 파란색..어느 길로 가야할까?"
고민하던 소녀는 세가지 색깔의 길 중에서 파란색 길로 가기로 결정했어요.
나무가 우거진 파란색 길을 조금 걸어갔을때 앵무새 한마리가 재잘거렸어요.
"Trick or Treat!
Trick or Treat!"
소녀는 앵무새가 무슨 말을 하는지 귀를 기울였어요.
"Trick or Treat! Trick or Treat!"
어느새 소녀와 부츠는 앵무새 패럿을 따라 큰 소리로 말하게 되었지요.
"Trick or Treat!"
알록 달록 예쁜 앵무새는 소녀와 부츠에게 계속 "Trick or Treat!"를 외쳤지요.
잠시 후 앵무새 패럿이 살며시 날아오르더니 소녀에게 둥지 안에 있던 사탕을
다섯개 가지고 가라고 얘기를 하지 뭐에요?
소녀는 달콤한 사탕을 다섯개 가방에 담았어요.
그리고 소녀는 감사의 인사말도 잊지않았어요.
"고마워~~앵무새야!"
호박 가방에 사탕을 담아 가지고 콧노래를 흥얼거리며 걷던 소녀앞와 부츠앞에
갑자기 이빨이 송곳처럼 뾰족한 무시무시한 뱀이 나타났어요.
소녀와 부츠는 몸을 부들부들 떨었어요.
"너무 무서워~~"
그런데 뱀 스네이크는 자꾸만 자꾸만 그들 가까이로 오는 것이었어요.
뱀은 입을 쩍~ 벌리더니.....????

.
.
"몇 일 전에 나무에서 미끄러져 그만 등위에 있는 무늬가 벗겨졌거든.
나를 도와 줄수 있겠니? 내 등위의 멋진 무늬를 다시 찾아줘~~???"
소녀는 뱀이 자기를 물려고 하는줄로 착각을 했었어요.
하지만 그 뱀은 우리의 도움이 필요했던 것이었지요.
원숭이 부츠가 그녀의 호박 가방에서 색연필을 꺼내었어요.
"이 색연필로 뱀의 색깔을 칠해주면 어떨까?"
소녀는 좋은 생각이라며 부츠의 말대로 뱀 스네이크의 등을 색칠해 주기로 했지요.
"주황 파랑 검정 검정 주황 파랑 검정 ??? 주황 파랑 검정 검정???"
무슨 색을 칠해야 할까?
맞아!!! 검정이야! 소녀는 무릎을 탁 두드리며 소리쳤어요.
그렇게 둘은 뱀의 등 무늬를 예쁘게 칠해주었지요.
뱀은 너무 고맙다며 인사를 했어요.
소녀와 부츠는 뱀을 도울수 있어 기뻤어요.
"알록 달록 뱀아~! 몸 조심해! 안녕~~"
햇살은 따가웠고 햇님은 저기 하늘 꼭대기에 떠 있었어요.
마치 햇님이 정글을 밝게 비춰줄테니 서둘러서 가라며 웃고 있는듯 했어요.
이윽고 초대장에 그려진 지도를 보고 절벽까지 오게 되었어요.
그런데 정말 큰 일이 났지 뭐에요?
절벽과 절벽을 이어주는 사다리가 그만 끊어져있는게 아니겠어요?
소녀와 부츠는 그만 바닥에 털썩 주저앉았어요.
"어떻게 해? 아직 우리는 가야할 길이 남아있는데...."
소녀와 부츠는 잠시 나무 그늘 아래에 앉아서 생각을 했어요.
"어떻게 하면 될까?"
"우리 잠시 여기서 물도 좀 마시고 생각 해보자!"
소녀는 호박 가방에서 물과 빨대를 꺼내었어요.
둘은 물을 나누어서 마셨어요.
그 순간 소녀의 머리를 스치는 것이 있었어요.
"아!! 이거다. 우리가 사다리를 만들자!"
가방에서 줄과 가위를 꺼내어 소녀는 뭔가를 열심히 만들기 시작했어요.
부츠는 옆에서 그냥 바라만 보았어요.
조금 뒤 소녀는 너무나도 멋지고 튼튼한 사다리를 만들었어요.
"우리가 이 사다리로 절벽을 건너면 되는 거야!"
사실 소녀는 가방에 이것 저것 넣어가지고 다니는 것을 좋아했거든요.
소녀와 부츠는 조금 겁이 났지만 조심 조심 사다리 위를 걸었어요.
"와~~~!!!절벽을 건넜다!"
둘은 꼭 껴안고 펄쩍 펄쩍 뛰었어요.
이제 조금만 더 가면 삐삐의 집이야!!!
부츠와 소녀는 기운을 내어 걸었어요.
저기 아주 작게 삐삐의 집이 보였어요.
소녀와 부츠는 달리기 시작했어요.
"할로윈 파티가 열리는 삐삐의 집까지 누가 먼저 도착하나? 내기 해볼까?"
그 동안 너무 지쳐있던 부츠가 화이팅을 외치며 제안을 했어요.
"그래..좋아!"
둘은 엎치락 뒤치락 한치의 양보도 없이 전력을 다했어요.
어느정도 달리고 있을때 소녀는 조금 이상한 느낌이 들었어요.
같이 달리던 부츠가 사라진 것이었지요.
"부츠~~~부츠??? 어딨니?"
뒤를 돌아보니 부츠가 늪에 빠져서 허우적거리고 있는 모습이
보였어요.
"도와줘~~~원숭이 살려~!!!"
늪은 부츠가 허우적거릴 때마다 조금씩 조금씩 더 깊이 빠지는 것이었어요.
"움직이지마!!! 그냥 그대로 있어! 자꾸 움직이면 늪에 더 깊이 빠지게 돼!!!"
소녀는 부츠를 진정시켰어요.
당황하는 부츠를 보니 눈물이 나올것만 같았지만 소녀는 꾹 참았어요.
'어떻게 하지???하느님~도와주세요!!!'
그런데 그때,,,
어디선가 이상한 소리가 들려왔어요.
"이히히히히 하하하하하 케케케 유령들의 늪에 빠졌구나!!! 하하하하하"
너무 기분나쁜 그 소리는 하얀 보자기를 뒤집어 쓴 것같은 유령들의 소리였어요.
"앗!"
소녀는 비명을 질렀어요.
늪 주변으로 유령들의 모습이 보였기 때문이지요.
그렇지만 소녀는 정신을 차려야겠다고 생각했어요. 왜냐하면 부츠를 늪에서
구해야하고 그리고.....
소녀는 꽤를 내었어요.
"원하는 게 뭐니? 착하게 생긴 유령들아~~~"
'착하게 생긴 유령이라고?'
"우리들이 착하게 생겼다고?"
유령들은 처음 듣는 칭찬에 볼이 빨개졌지요.
"우리는 이 늪의 유령이시다. 우린 장난을 아주 좋아하거든!!!"
"만약 너의 친구 원숭이를 구하고 싶다면 기회를 주지..."
유령들은 하늘을 떠다니며 소녀에게 기회를 주겠다고 했어요.
소녀는 기회를 달라고 애원했지요.
어떤 유령 하나가 소녀의 곁으로 다가와 접어진 종이가 담긴 통을 소녀에게
내밀었어요.
대장으로 보이는 유령 하나가 말했어요.
"거기에 있는 퀴즈는 모두 7개다! 그 문제의 정답을 알아맞힌다면 너의
친구 원숭이를 늪에서 무사히 꺼내주겠다!"
소녀는 망설일 시간이 없었어요.
"네...그렇게 할께요. 문제를 풀께요."
소녀는 문제 하나를 골랐어요.

마침내, 소녀와 부츠는 서로 손을 꼭 잡고 파티장에 도착했어요.
오는 내내 힘들었지만 둘은 너무나 뿌듯했지요.
삐삐는 소녀를 반갑게 맞았어요.
"은진아!!! 부츠랑 왔구나?
인사해...네가 너무 너무 좋아하는 친구들이 모두 모였단다."
은진이는 삐삐를 보자마자 두 팔로 안았어요. 은진이는 삐삐를 무척 좋아하거든요.
"삐삐야~고마워..할로윈 파티에 나를 초대해줘서.....
실은 파티에 너무 오고 싶어서 매일 매일 기도를 했었거든...^^"
삐삐네 집에는 까이유, 티모시, 리틀베어, 리요나,패트와 매트, 넘버크루,토마스,백설공주
신델렐라, 알라딘, 포카혼타스....등등 많은 친구들이 벌써 와 있었어요.
은진이와 부츠가 오자마자 동진이가 뒤 따라 들어왔어요.
"은진아!"
동진이는 은진이의 남자친구랍니다.
둘은 사탕을 하나씩 나누어 먹으며 즐겁게 춤을 추었답니다.
할로윈 파티는 소녀가 생각하는 것 보다 훨씬 더 신나고 재미있었지요.
소녀는 시간 가는줄 모르고 까이유랑 수다도 떨었어요.
파티는 점점 무르익어 갔어요.
친구들과 맛있는 케잌도 나눠먹고 달콤한 주스도 마셨지요.
"은진아~!!! 은진아~!!! 일어나야지???"
유치원 늦겠다. 햇님이 방긋 웃고 있구나~!
화들짝 놀라며 일어나보니.......그 일들은 모두 꿈이었다는것을 알았지요.
"꿈이었구나! 그래,,,꿈이었어...."
그때 엄마의 목소리가 들려왔어요.
"은진아~~어떤 드레스 입고 할로윈 파티에 갈꺼니?"
"언릉 서둘러야지???거실에서 마나나가 기다리고 있어~~"
소녀는 호박가방에 이것 저것 챙기며 거실로 내려왔지요.

은진(4년10개월)성진(2년3개월)
할로윈 파티에 가고 싶어하는 은진이를 위해 엄마가 짧고 엉성하지만 이야기를 하나
만들었습니다.
작년에는 영어모임 할때 우연히 은진이 아빠 생일과 할로윈데이가 겹치는 바람에
영어모임에서 했던 작은 파티에 참여 하지 못해 무척 아쉬워했었거든요.
**소망이 깊으면 이루어진다**는 이야기를 해주고픈 마음에....
꿈은 이루어 진다는 결말을 맺지요....
이 이야기를 해 주었더니 은진이는 진짜 할로윈 파티에 가고 싶다며
투정을 부리더라구요.
하루에 몇 번씩 이야기를 들려달라며 노트북 앞에서 조르게 되었지요.
"엄마~~할로윈 파티!!!할로윈 파티!!!나도 가고 싶어요~!!!"
이제 일요일 할로윈 데이에....
은진이는 이야기 속의 주인공 소녀가 되어 삐삐네 집에서 열리는 할로윈 파티에 가는
