[쑥쑥] 사진으로 만든 꼬마책..곤충

곤충(Insects)중에서도, 우리 집 아이는 딱정벌레(=갑충)종류를 정말로 좋아한답니다.
실지로 여름부터 키우고 있답니다.
지금 애벌레는 톱밥속으로 쏙 들어가서 보이지 않고 있답니다.
딱정벌레종류가 가장 생명력이 강해서 오래 사니까, 아이들이 참 좋아 하더군요.

여름내내, 들판을 돌아다니면서, 가장흔히 볼수 있는 잠자리, 무당벌레, 실잠자리 , 메뚜기,
사마귀를 많이 잡았답니다.
아이가 미래의 꿈이 곤충학자(entomologist)랍니다.

무당벌레와 메뚜기도 키워 보았답니다.
메뚜기는 화초를 워낙 많이 뜯어먹고, 배설량이 많아서, 3주만에 놓아주었답니다. 메뚜
기는 들판에서, 실지로 수놈이 암놈 위에 있답니다.

작년까지만해도 전, 새끼를 업고 있는줄 알았다니까요^^. 아이가 곤충을 좋아하니까, 곤충
에 관한 책들도 엄청 많이 읽었지요. 저도 거의 곤충박사가 되려고 하네요.
그렇게 징그러운 애벌레까지 귀여워 보이니까요.

여름동안 사슴벌레와 장수풍뎅이를 가지고 놀던 그 순간을 사진으로 남겨놓았답니다.
그래서 , 그 사진을 이제사 인화를 했답니다. 그 사진으로 꼬마책을 만들어 보았어요.
사진을 붙이고, 그 밑에다가 영어도 한 번 써 보았답니다.
그리고 , 그 사진책을 보면서, 영어 활용도 해 보았답니다.
지금 이 순간에도 아이들은, 나무젖가락이랑 요지를 이용해서, 대벌레를 만들고 있답니다.
사진으로 찍어서 스캔 할 예정이랍니다. 현재사진으로 만든책은, 장수풍뎅이랑 사슴벌레
기르면서, 그리고 가지고 노는 장면의 모습입니다.
그리고, 방아깨비, 잠자리 , 심지어 갯벌에서 사는 아기꽃게 까지 노는 모습을 찍어서
꼬마책으로 만들었답니다. 곧 스캔해서 올리도록 하겠습니다.(피시방에 가야 될거 같아요)

그리고, 아이가 곤충을 너무 좋아 하니까, 지금도 곤충책들을 읽고, 글씨를 씁니다.
한글 꼬마곤충책이라고 만들어서, 실지로 그림도 그리고, 글씨도 쓴답니다.아이가 워낙 글씨
쓰기를 싫어 하는데, 지가 좋아하니까, 글씨를 열심히 씁니다.예를 들면, 사슴벌레할 때,
"레"일까, "래"일까 하는부분을 자연스럽게 알게 되었답니다.

여전히 , 영어글씨 쓰는것도 싫어 하지요.
그래서, 처음에는 간단하게 ant, spider, cat, 이런 종류를 썼는데, 지금은 곤충이름을 거의
외워서 쓰기도 한답니다. 그냥 놀면서, 자연스럽게 할 수 있도록 하고 있답니다.

그럼, 간단하게 저희가 집에서, 곤충그림을 보면서 ,
곤충이름 대답하는 대화를 올리겠습니다.

M: Look at this . Do you know what this insect is?

C: It's a stick insect.
M: Great. Good job. And, what is this?

C: It's a leaf insect. / This is a moth. / This is a diving insect. /
This is a pond skater(소금쟁이) / This is a stinkbug.(=a shield bug)
**이 노린재는 흔히 볼 수 있답니다.
나무가 있는 곳에서는 아주 많이 볼 수 있답니다.
만지고 놀면, 어떨땐 고약한 냄새가 나지요.그래서 이름이, stindbug인가 봐요.

C: This is a ground beetle. / This is a stag beetle. / This is a dung beetle.(쇠똥구리)

****아이가, 곤충농장에 갔을 때, 쇠똥구리를 기르고 싶다고 했답니다.그러나, 쇠똥
이 없어서, 불가능 했지요.오빠가 곤충을 좋아하니까, 작은 아이도 덩달아 좋
아 한답니다. 동그라미를 그려놓고, 쇠똥구리의 쇠똥이라고 하기도 하지요.

지금부터는 제가 꼬마사진책을 보면서 아이랑 하는 대화랍니다.

M: Here is a photo book. What can you see?
C: I can see beetles , a crab, a grasshopper.

M: Do you liken insects?

C: Yes, I like insects. So I bring up insects.

M: What kind of insects are there?
C: Um... beetles, grasshoppers, ladybugs, butterflies, cicada, cricket, moths,
mosquito, dragonfly, firefly, bee, ant, stick insects, praying mantis,
leaf insect, stinkbug(노린재), a bedbug(빈대), a flea(벼룩), a mayfly(=a dayfly하루살이)
, a diving insect(물방개) , a pond skater(=a water strider 소금쟁이), etc...
M: Good. What's your favorite insect?

C: My favorite insect is a beetle. Exactly, my favorite is a stag beetle.
Look, these are my beetles. I bought these insects in the insectarium.(곤충관)
M: Are beetles insects?
C: Yes, they are. Beetles are insects.
Mom, look. One insect is a stag beetle, the other insect is a ground beetle.

M: Oh, I see. Great. What are they doing now?

C: Now, beetles are eating a banana. Look carefully.
I can catch a beetle.
M: Be careful, or a stag beetle will bite you.
Look at this . what are you doing now?

C: Now my beetle is angry. So I am angry , too.
Look. My beetle is happy. so I am happy, too.

Look at these. They are two crabs and a grasshopper.
They get along each other.
Me and my sister, we are nice to each other, too.
M: Do you like to play with beetles?
C: Yes, I like to play with them.
M : Do you like to bring up insects ?
C: Yes, I do. To bring up insects is very fun. I like to watch insects everyday.
I give them some food. Their food is a piece of pear.

M: Do you want to know about insects?
C: Yes, I do. So I read books about insects.
M: Do you like to play an insect game?
C: Yes, I like to play an insect game. Look, I have to put the insect mask on.
Ta-da, I'm a beetle. I can fly, like this. I can bite. I can jump.
I can climb on a tree. I can fight.

M: Do you like to draw insects?
C: Yes, I like to draw picture of insects.
Look! This is the picture that I drew .

M: Wow , wonderful.

M: Do you like to make insects with blocks?

C: Yes, I do. These are insects that I made.
M: Wow, wonderful.

앨범을 보면서.

M: Look at this. Who is she?

C: This is my little sister.
She likes a crab. She is playing with crabs.
I often play with crabs. I like to catch crab in the sea.
I and my sister, we play carefully not to be bitten by the crab.

M: Hay, look. What are these?
C: These are two crab and a grasshopper.
They are playing nicely each other.
We are nice to each other, too.

C: Mom , look at this. What' this?
M: This picture is taken when we went to see dinosaurs.
M: What 's this?
C: This is a Pachicephalosaurus. (대머리용)
M: You liked dinosaurs when you were a baby.
So you read books about dinosaurs.

C: Look at this picture. What's this?
M: This picture is taken when you were four years old.
You are wearing an ant costume.
C: How about me? Am I cute? Do I look exactly like an ant?
M: You look exactly like an ant.

M: What do you want to be?
C: I still like to be an insect. So I want to be an insect collector.
I want to be an entomologist.
