먼저, Verb란 무엇인가를 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
What is a verb?
A verb is a word used primarily to indicate a type of action, such as to fly or to wish,
though it may also be used to indicate a general state of existence, such as to live.
There is also a special type of verb, known as a linking verb,
which helps to describe the subject of the sentence, rather than describing an action.

그러니까 동사란 어떠한 동작을 나타내는 action verb가 있고, 혹은 존재나 상태를 나타내는 동사가 있지요.
그 뿐만 아니라 be동사와 같이 주어를 묘사하거나 동작을 묘사하는 linking verb(연결동사)가 있지요.
