안녕하세요?
이번주 주제는 The future of marriage 입니다.
지난주 주제가 좀 재미있었는데 ( man bag) 스크립트만 읽고 올리지를 못했네요.
제가 이번달에 좀 스케줄이 빡빡해서 시간이 많지 않아서 자료도 충실하지가 못할 것 같아요.
그래도 되도록 올리도록 노력할께요.
오늘 주제는 자료를 이리저리 찾아보아도 딱히 올려드릴만한 좋은 자료를 못찾았네요.
글을 읽으면서 드는 생각을 조금 적어볼 까 해요.
지금의 결혼제도가 참 오래되었지요? 그동안 세상은 엄청난 속도로 변하고 있어요.
사람의 수명도 많이 늘어났구요. 사람들의 결혼에 대한 생각도 많이 달라지고 있어요.
결혼은 꼭 해야하는 것인가? 도 요새는 각자의 생각이 다 다르지요.
생각보다 이혼가정도, 재혼가정도, 한부모 가정도 많아지고 있구요
양성결혼이 당연한 문화에서 동성 결혼에 대한 전세계적 변화도 있구요
수명이 늘어나면서 노년부부에서의 졸혼에 대한 이슈도 많구요.
결혼이라는 형식적 문화도 많이 변화하고 있지요.
과거의 가족행사이면서 그 마을의 잔치였던 결혼이
시대를 거슬러 공장에서 찍어낸 듯 비슷한 15분만에 끝나는 결혼식이 주류를 이루다가
최근에는 스몰웨딩이 추세가 된것 같아요.
정말 친하고 가까운 사람들만 불러서 주례나 사회자 없이 결혼식을 즐거운 파티같은 행사로 진행하기도 하고 화려한 드레스나 턱시도 대신 간편복을 입고 결혼식을 하기도 하구요.
여러분은 결혼에 대해 아직 관심을 둘 나이는 아니겠지만
지금의 결혼제도나 결혼 문화에 대해 어떻게 생각하는지 한번 글로 써보는 것도 좋을 것 같습니다.

I'm not that enthusiastic about the idea of marriage, to tell you the truth.
I think it's a bit of an archaic concept these days and I'm a bit of a commitment phobe – I don't like the idea of signing a p***e of paper that says I have to be with someone for the rest of my life and can never escape from that person I suppose – although I am in a very happy relationship at the moment.

In general I think it's quite good. It has a very stabilising effect on society and it declares publicly to the world that you have found the right person for you and that you're in a committed relationship.
