두개의 단어로 만들수 있는 단어들을 먼저 프린트 해 놓습니다. 단어 카드들을 섞어 놓고 아이에게 두 단어를 합해서 새로운 단어를 만들수 있는 단어 두개를 찾아보게 합니다. 그리고 답도 같이 찾아봅니다.   school과 bus를 합해...schoolbus를 만듭니다.
이렇게 되는 거지요.   apple 과 tree 가 만나면 appletree가 되구요.   doll과 house로 dollhouse를 만듭니다.   sea와 horse가 만나 seahorse가 됩니다.   snow와 man은 snowman을 만들고   bed와 room이 만나 bedroom을 만듭니다.   sand와 castle로 sandcastle을 만들었습니다. 이외에 space+ship=spaceship finger+nails=fingernails 를 만들어 보았습니다. 여기서 man, room, sandcastle, spaceship, fingernails는 플래쉬카드가 없어서 재윤이와 같이 만들어 보았습니다. 아이에게 두 단어를 찾게 하고 나중에 합성어까지 다 찾아보게 할 수도 있고, 엄마가 먼저 합성어를 제시하면 아이가 두 단어를 찾아볼수도 있고... 더하기 공식처럼 이것 저것 빼보면서 해볼수도 있어요.
