***Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?

*먼저 책과 Tape을 보고난후 색깔종이만가지고 "What color is it?"하면서 나열합니다.그리고 흑백의 동물들이 슬픈표정으로 등장..

"I'm a bear. Oh..I'm sad. I lost my color. Help me!~~~~~"
그럼 나현이는 내가 도와줄께 하면서 bear를 brown 에 놓습니다.
이런식으로 Memory game을 해봅니다.

Today is Monday

***먼저 7개의 요일접시를 sunday,Monday,Tuesday.Wednesday,Thursday,Saterday ~song을 부르며 놓습니다.그리고 yellow plate에 여러가지 음식을 놓아 등장,,,
Today is Monday" song 을 부르며 요일에 알맞는 음식을 찾아봅니다.다른 음식들도 놓아보며 재미있는 먹기게임을 해보세요.

"What do you want to eat on Monday?"

"Have some beans."

"You have to eat it with your spoon."

<울지 않는 귀뚜라미>라는 제목으로 번역된 Eric Carle의 대표작입니다.
뒷장에 울리는 맑고 깨끗한 귓두라미소리가 매력적인 책이죠...하지만 아무리 날개를 비벼도 나지않던 그 소리가 사랑으로 이루어낸 감동의 소리임을 우리아가에게 어찌 전해줄지...참으로 어렵기도 했답니다.또한 책을 처음폈을때 생소한 곤충과 단어들이 그득해서 곤충만큼 징그러운책이였지만 얼마나 아름답고 멋진책인지 비로서 알게되었답니다.
조금만 노력해보세요. 이 책한권으로 아이와 엄마 모두 행복해질테니까요.
함께 차근차근 살펴봐요.

2.등장인물(등장곤충)

**criket (귀뚜라미) : 이책의 주인공으로 big cricket,little cricket(she and he)..모두 3마리가 나온답니다.

**locust (메뚜기) :

**praying mantis (사마귀)

**worm (벌레) : 곤충이라기보다 연충이라고 해야겠죠?

**spittlebug (끈적한 곤충):일반적으로는 insect 가 곤충이지만 조금 작은 곤충을 bug라고 한다는군요.그래서인지 spittlebug 가 조금 작아보이죠?(끈적한곤충이라는말이 좀 어색하죠?정확하게 알고계신분은 알려주세요)

**mosquitoe (모기)

**luna moth (대형 누에나방)

3.인사말

*big cricket - welcome!

*locust (메뚜기) - Good Morning!

*praying mantis(사마귀) - Hello!

*spittlebug (끈적한 곤충) _ Hi!

*cicada (매미)- Good afthernoon!

*bumblebee(벌)- How are you!

*dragonfly(잠자리)- Good evening!

*mosquitoe (모기)- Good night!

*luna moth(대형 누에나방)- 인사안함.

4.반복문장

The little cricket wanted to answer,so he rubbed his wings together. But nothing happened. Not a sound.

이문장만 잘~외워보세요.
아마도 이 책의 반은 모두 소화한 셈이랍니다.
페이지마다 반복되는 이부분을 읽을때 저는 노래로 불러주었어요.(The little cricket wanted to answer,솔도 레미도시레~~~but~~~~도시도)-이해가 되실지...
또 양손등을 날개처럼 열심히 부비는 모습을 읽을때마다 보여주세요.그리고 but~~~하고 길게 끌고 실망의 목소리로 슬픈표정으로 "Not a sound."라고 읽어주세요.

5.의성어

*criket (귀뚜라미) - chirp n. 짹짹 ((새곤충 등의 울음소리)) vi. 짹짹 울다[지저귀다] // 여기서는 귀뚤귀뚤하는 소리로 보면 되겠죠? chirp,chirp,chirp....사라지듯 소리내어주세요.)

*locust (메뚜기) : whizz [hwíz|wíz] n. 윙, 핑, 씽 ((화살총알 등이 내는 소리))1 씽[윙] 소리나다; 씽[윙]하며 움직이다 // whizzzzzzzzzz하며 손가락으로 맴도는 모습을 보여주세요.

*praying mantis(사마귀) : whisper vi.속삭이다; 귀 엣말하다, 귀띔하다

*worm(벌레) : crunch 【의성어】 vt., vi.오독오독[아삭아삭] 깨물다[먹다

6.활용법

1.먼저 각페이지마다 있는 귀뚜라미찾기 놀이를 해보세요.너무 쉽지만 재미있어한답니다.

2.아이와 함께 각 페이지마다 곤충의 다리를 세어보세요.
