배고픈 애벌레를 읽고 숫자놀이하기
준비물:부직포로 만든 나무 한그루,
책 속의 과일 그림 갯수대로(과일에는 구멍을 뚫으세요),
애벌레(작게), 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 숫자판
들판에 큰 나무 한그루가 있습니다.
그 나무에는 다섯 종류의 과일이 열려 있습니다.
숫자공부를 좋아하는 배고픈 애벌레 한 마리가 와서 아이들에게 과일을 따 달라고 합니다.
그리고 먹을 때마다 자기가 먹은 과일이 몇 개인지 세어 보는 거지요.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 숫자판을 붙여 가면서요.

Yum, I had one apple.(애벌레가 사과구멍을 빠져나가고, 숫자 1을 붙이고 그 아래에 사과 한 개를 붙인다)

Yumyum, I had two pears.(애벌레가 배를 먹고, 숫자 2를 붙이고 그 아래에 배 두 개를 붙인다.)
But I am still hungry.
도라! Please, get(pick) one plum for me.

Yumyumyum, I had three plums.(애벌레가 자두를 먹고, 숫자 3를 붙이고 그 아래에 자두 세 개를 붙인다.)
But I am still hungry.
도라! Please, get(pick) one strawberry for me.
One more, ok, one more, one more, thank you!
Yumyumyumum, I had four strawberries.(애벌레가 딸기를 먹고, 숫자 4를 붙이고 그 아래에 딸기 네 개를 붙인다.)
But I am still hungry.
도라! Please, get(pick) one orange for me.

Yumyumyumyumyum, I had five oranges.(애벌레가 오렌지를 먹고, 숫자 5를 붙이고 그 아래에 오렌지 다섯 개를 붙인다.)
Wow, How many fruits did I have?
ONE apple, one two, TWO pears, one two three, THREE plums, one two three four, FOUR strawberries, one two three four five, FIVE oranges!(먹었던 과일을 세면서)
Now, I had all the fruits up.
The tree is empty but I am full.
