[독후 활동으로 할로윈을 즐겨보아요~]
제가 늘 말하는 핑계...??!! 벌여놓은 일들이 많아...^^;;
이번 공모전은 그냥 패쓰~~하려 했습니다만....왠지(?) 아쉬워서...
쑥쑥영유 활동기겸~ 겸사 겸사(?) 이렇게 참여해봅니다. ㅎㅎ
[Reading Halloween Books]
할로윈 관련 책으로 [Meg & mog]를 읽어보았답니다. (쑥쑥영유 교재이기도하지요. ^^)
Meg는 주인공 witch의 이름이고, Mog는 그녀의 친구인 고양이의 이름이랍니다.
[Meg & mog]는 시리즈로도 있는 책인데 저희 집에는 [Meg & mog]와 [Meg on the Moon]
두 권이 있어 함께 읽어보았어요.

1권은 마법주문을 잘못 외워 친구 마녀들을 모두 생쥐로 만들어버린 Meg의 이야기를
유머러스하게 보여주고 있구요. [Meg on the Moon]은 고양이 Meg의 생일기념으로
우주선을 만들어 달나라로 여행을 떠난 에피소드를 재미있게 다루고 있답니다.

책을 읽은 후 구글 검색을 통해 찾은 witch 관련 worksheet들을 해보았답니다.

[Activity - Witch, Owl & Black cat Craft]
여러 가지 craft들을 만들어보았어요.
순수 창작이어야한다고 하셨지만...저의 창의력이 모자란 관계로...^^;;
구글 검색을 통해 찾은 여러 가지 craft 아이디어에 덧붙이고~ 생략하고~ 제 나름으로
재정비(?) 및 재창조(!)하여 만들어보았답니다. ^^
#1 Cone Witch Craft
우선 주인공인 'Meg'를 만들어보았어요.
고깔 형태로 만든 witch랍니다. 난이도는 별 다섯 개 정도 되겠어요~
엄마의 손길이 많이 가야하는 작품(!) 이랍니다. ^^;;
템플릿은 제가 미리 준비해서 모두 만들어놓고, 원영이는 붙이기만 하면 되도록 만들어 진행하였어요.

Let's make a cone witch craft together like Meg in the book.
I already prepared what we need to make the witch.
Would you draw red stripe pattern on the legs? Very good!
Now, let's put the goggle eyes on the green face and draw the eyelashes and
mouth with a black marker.
Good job! I like this smiling face.
Let's glue the face and glue the waist belt on the correct position around the black cone.
We should put the arms and legs also.
Would you put this hat brim through the cone? It looks like a donought, right?
Now, let's glue the curly hair.
Wow, we competed a witch craft! Awesome!
#2 Black cat craft
Meg의 친구 black cat 'Mog'를 만들어보았어요.
휴지속대를 검정 색지로 감싸준 후 윗부분을 접으면서 눌러주면 귀 모양이 된답니다.
눈과 꼬리를 붙여주면 완성~!! 간단하죠? ^^

Let's wrap the tube with this black paper.

#3 Handprint Owl 만들기
[Meg & Mog] 책을 보면 주인공 Meg와 동거하는 동물로 Mog 말고도 Owl 한 마리가
등장한답니다. handprint 패턴을 이용한 owl을 만들어보았어요.

Now, I'll help you to cut this 4 sheets of construction papers at once.
It will difficult for you because it's too thick.
Here are 4 sheets of handprints and let's glue them together to make the owl shape.
Only glue the palms and fingers will be feathers.
Let's glue the circle for big owl eyes and glue the ear feathers and feet.
Would you draw the upside down triangle for beek?

두 가지 Halloween song을 원영이와 함께 불러보았어요.
첫 번째 노래는 할로윈 주제 액티를 하고 있는 저와 원영이의 모습을 보고는
원영파가 원영이에게 가르쳐준 노래에요. 가사는 무척 간단합니다.

[Crafts for Halloween]
독후 확장 활동으로 할로윈 관련 craft를 몇 가지 더 만들어보았어요.
#1 Toilet tube Bat
휴지속대로 만든 박쥐로...날개는 handprint 되겠습니다.
원래는 검정색으로 만들려했지만...몸은 핑크, 날개는 빨간색으로 만들어야한다는
원영이 의견에 따라 빨간 날개의 핑크박쥐가 되었답니다. ^^

I know, you really love to make something with a toilet tube, right?
Today, we will make a bat with this.
You want to make a bat with pink paper instead of black color?
Ok, it's a good idea and it will be really lovely bat, I think.
Let's glue this pink paper around the toilet tube to make a pink body.
Now, would you trace your hand on this red paper. Very good!
Cut out them along the line to make wings.
Glue 2 goggle eyes and mouth.
Cut 2 small triangles to make ears and glue on the top of the tube.
Let's put the handprints wings.
Great job!!
#2 Jack-o-lantern
Jack-o-lantern을 여러 가지 종류로 만들어보았는데요.
마침 집에 귤이 있어 첫 번째는 ‘귤을 이용한 Jack-o-lantern’ 되겠습니다.
색종이로 눈과 입 모양을 잘라 풀을 살짝 뭍혀 붙여주면 완성~
주의할 점은 냉장고에서 바로 꺼낸 귤은 껍질에 수분이 생겨 잘 붙이 않는다는 점입니다. ^^;;
실온에 놔두었다가 해보세요. 나름 귀엽고 깜찍하죠?
부록(?)으로~ 마침 집에 있었던 연시를 이용해서도 만들어보았어요.
주황색 계통이라면 뭐든 Jack-o-lantern으로 변신이 가능하네요. ^^
두 번째는 ‘플라스틱통을 이용한 Jack-o-lantern’입니다.
마침 집에 씨리얼이 담겨있던 커다란 플라스틱 통이 있었어요.
흰색의 반투명 플라스틱 재질이었죠. 마트에서 파는 커다란 우유통을 사용하셔도 좋을 듯 하구요.
방법은 초간단~!! 플라스틱 통 겉에 검정색 매직으로 Jack-o-lantern 얼굴만 그려주면 끝!!
제가 눈과 입을 그려주고, 원영이에게 매직으로 칠하도록 했어요.
불을 어떻게 밝힐까...고민하다가 떠오른 아이디어~~~!!
얼마 전 야외 공연장에서 받은 LED 조명봉을 넣어주니 딱이네요~흐흐흐~~
조명봉이 알아서 깜빡 거리기도하고 색상도 바꿔주는 덕에 불을 끄고 Jack-o-lantern을
밝혀보았더니 할로윈 분위기 제대로 나더라구요. ^^v

#3 Peek-a-boo Ghost
종이컵에 숨어있던 ghost가 “Boo~~!!!"하면서 나타나는 craft인데, 간단하면서
재미있어했어요. ^^
종이컵 밑바닥에 구멍을 뚫고 아이스크림 막대나 혹은 나무젓가락에 작은 유령을 붙여주고
막대를 위로 올리면서 “Boo~~!!!"하고 말해보는 것이랍니다. ^^

Let's make a Peek-a-boo Ghost together.
First, let's draw a ghost on the white paper.
Would you draw eyes and mouth with black color?
Glue the ghost on the popsicle stick.
I made a small hole on the bottom of the paper cup.
Would you put this stick through this hole?
Let's play with this and say "Boo!!!" when the ghost comes out of this cup.

이번이 원영이에게는 첫 할로윈 액티였네요. ^^
퇴근해서 문 열고 들어오는 아빠를 놀라게 한다며 온 집안의 불을 끄고 기다렸다가
“Happy Halloween!"이라고 외치더라구요. ^^
아빠 기다리는 동안 원영이와 둘이 플라스틱 Jack-o-lantern 켜놓고 분위기 잡았네요. ㅋㅋ
만들어 놓은 여러 가지 작품들(?)을 원영이가 집안 곳곳에 전시해두었어요.
이 작품들을 보면서 할로윈을 즐겁게 기다릴 수 있을 듯 합니다.
