[볼클레이로 만든 할로윈 소품]
얼마 전에 파주출판단지에 갔다가 볼클레이로 LED봉을 장식해서 만들기 체험을 한 적이
있는데요~ 원영이가 재미있어해서 할로윈 소품 만들기를 해보았답니다. ^^
(할로윈 컨텐츠 공모전에도 응모할 겸~ 겸사 겸사....ㅎㅎㅎ)
원영이가 좋아하는 만들기를 하자고 하니...
한 껏 들뜬 원영이가 즉석에서 만든 할로윈 포스터에요~
아래 현수막 모양 띠에 그린 그림을 최고를 나타내는 엄지 손가락을 올린 모양이라고 하네요. ㅋㅋ
준비물은 4색 볼클레이와 LED봉입니다.
볼클레이는 다른 클레이들과 마찬가지로 색을 섞어 여러 가지 색을 만들 수 있으니
기본적인 4색만 있어도 충분하답니다.
볼클레이는 작은 스티로폼 알갱이에 끈적끈적한 풀이 섞여있는데 마치...물엿을 섞어 강정을
만드는 느낌이라고나 할까요? ^^
끈기가 있지만 손에는 전혀 묻지 않고 부스러기도 떨어지지 않으니 좋더라구요.
완전히 마른 후에는 스티로폼 느낌이 나구요.
[Jack-o' lantern 소품 만들기]
우선 LED봉 위에 흰색 볼클레이를 얇게 붙여주었어요.
예전에도 조명 박물관에서 볼클레이로 크리스마스 트리장식을 만들어본 적이 있는데요.
흰색 볼클레이는 빛을 통과시켜서 전구와 같은 빛이 나는 장치 위에 붙여서 만들면 은은하고
예쁜 효과가 나더라구요.

LED봉을 흰색 클레이로 감싸 주었으면 다음 단계는 노랑과 빨강을 섞어 주황색을 만든 후에
둥글게 빚어 호박 만들기~
볼클레이를 섞어서 색을 만들며 기본 삼원색인 primary colors와 삼원색을 섞어서 만드는
secondary colors에 대해서도 알아볼 수 있었답니다.
그리고 호박모양을 만들기 위해 자를 이용해서 홈이 나도록 살짝 눌러주었어요.

What color do we need to make a pumpkin?
Yes, we need orange color, but now we don't have orange clay.
We have yellow, red and blue. We call these as primary colors and we can make
secondary colors with these.
What colors should we mix together to make orange?
Right, we need yellow and red.
Let's mix yellow and red together.

Let's make clay ball with orange clay to make a pumpkin for Jack-o' lantern
and then press the clay ball with the edge of a ruler.
Wow, it looks like a pumpkin, isn't it?
눈, 입도 예쁘게 붙여주었구요.
호박 꼭지와 리본을 붙인 것은 원영이의 아이디어였네요. ㅎㅎㅎ
스틱 옆면에는 할로윈 느낌이 나는 여러 가지 장식들을 만들어 붙여주었어요.
black cat, bat, ghost, tick-or-treating candy와 같은 것들이지요.

Yes, let's mix yellow and blue.
Let's add eyes and mouth on this Jack-o' lantern.
Wow, this is very cute ribbon.
Put this Jack-o-lantern on the top of the LED stick.
Let's put some decorations on the stick.

뭔가 하나 더 만들고 싶어서~ 이번에는 그림책 마녀 위니의 주인공 Winnie 만들기에
도전해보았어요.ㅎㅎ
[Winnie the Witch 소품 만들기]
우선 마음에 드는 Winnie 그림책 하나 골라왔구요~
노랑, 빨강, 흰색을 섞어서 얼굴색 완성~
뾰족한 코를 강조해서 얼굴모양을 만들었어요.
코끝은 빨강색이라는 원영이의 말에 따라 코의 끝에는 빨간색을 붙여주었네요.^^
파랑색으로 높고 뾰족한 모자도 만들어주었구요.
그림책과 똑같이 초승달과 별로 장식도 해주었답니다.
원영이가 노란 리본을 맨 디테일도 살려주었어요.

Let's mix yellow, red and white clays to make a face.
She has a red nose. Put some red clay on her nose.
Let's make Winnie's big tall hat with blue clay.
Now, put the hat on the face and put the black hair.
Let's decorate Winnie's hat like this picture.
Yes, put a crescent, a star and some stripes.
Okay, don't forget the yellow ribbon to tie Winnie's hair.
Now we finished making Winnie and put Winnie's face on the top of the stick.
그리고 Winnie의 친구 black cat Wilbur가 빠지면 섭섭하지요. ㅋ
Wilbur는 green eyes를 가진 고양이이기에 그 디테일을 살려 원영이가 눈을 붙여주었답니다.

Now, let's make Winnie's friend Wilbur.
He is a black cat with green eyes.
Put green eyes, blue inner ears, pink nose, white mouth and whiskers.
위니 얼굴 아래에는 위니의 분신과도 같은 magic wand도 붙여주어 완성했어요~ㅎㅎㅎ
어째...위니의 느낌이 나나요? ㅎㅎㅎ
